At the start of your session the practitioner will explain the amount of pressure used, and you can ask any questions you may have about the experience.
The main difference between the two is that in deep tissue, deeper layers of muscles are addressed with specific techniques. Swedish may have firm pressure, but uses more gliding, kneading, tapping and stretching techniques that are more general than specific. Both offer great benefits.
